Enerson wins Indy Lights pole

With a lap time of 1:12.958s Schmidt Peterson Motorsports' R.C. Enerson won pole for today's Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires race at Mid-Ohio. It was the New Port Richey, FL native's first career pole.

Enerson's teammate and championship leader Jack Harvey will start second, with Spencer Pigot third. Felix Serralles and Shelby Blackstock round out the top-five.

The green flag for the first of two Indy Lights races this weekend at Mid-Ohio is scheduled for 1:55 p.m.
