Stewart talks about the last two years

In August 2013, Tony Stewart's right leg was nearly torn off after crashing in an Iowa sprint car race. While last August, once again racing the powerful open-wheel machines in upstate New York, he was involved in a tragic accident that cost the life of local driver Kevin Ward. Talking Wednesday to reporters in Texas, Stewart admitted those incidents, especially Ward's death, has changed his life forever.
"I don't think I'll ever be the same from what happened the last two years. I don't know how you could be. I don't know how anybody ever could be exactly back to where they were. Not being back exactly the same I was doesn't mean that I haven't become better in some ways. I think there's always positives that come out of every scenario." Stewart also added, "I'm trying to not to think about it. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it's going to be brought up a lot this week, but it doesn't help you continue to move forward with it."
