Brembo to stay with IndyCar for 2016
Brembo North America will continue to be the exclusive brake component supplier for the Verizon IndyCar Series for the 2016 season.
The agreement was announced on Thursday.
Brembo broke into IndyCar racing in 1989 when it sold its first racing product to the Kraco Enterprises car driven by Bobby Rahal in CART.
Over the next 22 years, Brembo expanded and sold braking systems to several IndyCar teams.
In 2012, the brake company became IndyCar's exclusive brake supplier.
