Good morning from RFK Stadium Parking Lot 4. It's a rather pleasant morning for mid-August here in our Nation's Capital with temperatures in the high 60s, which are expected to rise in the 80s by this afternoon. This weekend's action features the GRC Supercars and GRC Lites. The Supercars will hold their first practice session at 11:35 local time with GRC Lites to follow. Below, is a full schedule of today's events.

The biggest news so far this morning is that Pat Moro and PMR Motorsports will run a Chevrolet Sonic in the Supercars category this weekend. The Sonic has appeared six times in the GRC Supercars, most recently with Moro scoring an 11th place finish at the X Games.
