Helicopter takes Wilson to hospital.

Justin Wilson has been airlifted to Lehigh Valley Health Network Cedar Crest Hospital for a head injury when his exposed head (IndyCars have no canopies) struck the nosecone from Sage Karam's car when he hit the Turn 1 wall with 20 laps to go in the Pocono 500.

The nosecone weighs about 5 pounds and flew over 100 feet in the air after Wilson's head hit it while doing over 200 mph. A video of the accident is below.

Our thought and prayers are with Wilson and hope he is going to be OK. We will update you when we get more information.
