Plan to make IndyCar Great Again

A reader writes, Dear AR1, I read with great interest Mark Cipolloni's article on the X1 Group's proposal to IndyCar to make the series great again. If they design the car as shown, there won't be any interlocking of wheels and the drivers won't be killed due to head impacts. I like it and it cannot happen soon enough. I just hope the series can hang on that long until 2018 – us old guys need to be replaced by the younger generation. Justin Devens
