AdvoCare Expands Roush Fenway Partnership to XFINITY Series
"I'm excited to have AdvoCare on the car for a series of races to close out the season," said Buescher, who has already posted two wins in 2015. "Everybody knows that AdvoCare prides themselves on building champions and that is our goal – to close out the final races and bring home the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship."
Buescher's green and yellow AdvoCare Ford Mustang will debut this weekend and be featured as the primary partner on the No. 60 Ford Mustang for races at Darlington, Richmond, Kentucky, Kansas, Texas and Phoenix.
"AdvoCare is a proud partner of the Roush Fenway team as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion and as we approach the end of the 2015 season we are excited to expand that partnership," said Patrick Wright, the Vice President of Marketing at AdvoCare.
"Chris has done a great job in the XFINITY series this year," added Wright. "We are excited to be part of six upcoming races with him and the No. 60 car as they pursue the championship and look forward to continuing our sponsorship of Trevor and the No. 6 car in 2016."
Buescher has led the XFINITY Series points for the past 14 weeks and currently holds a 16 point advantage as the season heads into the final stretch with 10 races remaining. The Prosper, Texas native boasts wins at Iowa and Dover and will look to take the No. 60 to victory lane for a third time in 2015 this week at Darlington.
"Darlington is one of the most historic tracks on the schedule, as well as one of my favorite tracks," added Buescher. "It's extremely demanding, which is why it will be great to have AdvoCare in our corner. It's a lot of fun to race there and we'd love nothing more than to take AdvoCare to victory lane at Darlington in their first race on the car this Saturday night. "
On the season, Buescher has totaled an XFINITY Series-high 10 top-five and 13 top-10 finishes in 2015, while leading 263 laps; including 106 two weeks ago at Bristol. He has completed 99.9 percent of the laps in his 23 starts this season.
AdvoCare will pull the 'double' this weekend in Darlington, with Bayne running a No. 6 'Retro-1998' throwback scheme this weekend in Sunday night's Sprint Cup race as part of Darlington's 'Tradition Returns' program.
