SCOTT SPEED NO. 41 MERCHANT FIRST BEETLE
"It was great to get out there today and show everyone what our cars can do. I think we are just now seeing what the Volkswagen Beetle can actually do and we made a big statement today. Both Tanner (Foust) and I were way quicker than the rest of the field. For the last five races, I think it is going to be on us to make no mistakes, have no mechanicals and run smooth races. Don’t count us out; we still have a chance to make up some good points."
