V8 Supercars Dunlop Series 2016 Calendar Announced
All practice, qualifying and races will be shown live and ad-free on Fox Sports, with marquee events at Clipsal 500 Adelaide, Castrol Edge Townsville 400, Wilson Security Sandown 500, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and Coates Hire Sydney 500 also shown live on free to air on Channel Ten.
V8 Supercars CEO James Warburton said the addition of two marquee events confirmed the series as the number one support category to the V8 Supercars Championship.
"This is great outcome for the V8 Supercars Dunlop Series and will ensure that we are showcasing the next generation of stars to fans who can follow their careers from the beginning," he said.
"Many of our drivers including Mark Winterbottom, Chaz Mostert and Scott McLaughlin have made their way through the Dunlop Series and it has proved to be successful pathway for many young drivers.
"Now the series will receive even greater exposure and we look forward to some exciting racing in 2016."

Clipsal 500 Adelaide, Castrol Edge Townsville 400 and Coates Hire Sydney 500 will feature two 30 minutes races. The WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint, Perth SuperSprint and Wilson Security Sandown 500 will feature three 30 minutes races. A 250 km race will be held at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

- WD-40 Phillip Island SuperSprint, 15-17 April
- Perth SuperSprint, 6-8 May
- Castrol Edge Townsville 400, 8-10 July
- Wilson Security Sandown 500, 16-18 September
- Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, 6-9 October
Coates Hire Sydney 500, 25-27 November
