Valencia MotoGP Declared High-Risk Due To Conflict Between Marquez, Rossi

This weekend's Valencia MotoGP has been declared "high-risk" after "everything that happened" since the Malaysia GP, according to MARCA. It is "an extraordinary measure" in the history of MotoGP.

It "remains to be seen whether the circuit will allow — as it did last year — the invasion of the track after the race concludes."

That was allowed last year, "but may not happen due to the tension between fans of Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo." MARCA.

MUNDO DEPORTIVO reported Cheste circuit Dir Gonzalo Gobert admitted "there could be some type of clash after the controversy" between Marquez and Rossi.

Gobert: "It enters into the possibilities that there could be a fight, but everyone is alert. We have to be calm. I do not see the point of declaring it a high-risk event."

He added, "Everyone knows how the event goes, everything is prepared and nothing has to happen. If 10,000 Italians come without tickets, they will not be able to enter." MUNDO DEPORTIVO.
