World Of Outlaws Gets Another Sellout For This Weekend’s Finale

SMI's $10M dirt track, adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway, has sold out for this weekend's World of Outlaws World Finals – the seventh straight year the finale has reached the mark. The event will run through late Saturday night. CMS Senior Dir of Business Development Matt Long said the event helps diversify and burnish SMI's track portfolio and takes in a "very sizable" profit. CMS execs are now marketing pit passes at The Dirt Track that command an upcharge in an effort to show YOY increases for the event, which will move back a week next year so it will not conflict with automotive trade show SEMA.
