A reader writes, Dear AR1.com, I am watching the WEC finale from Bahrain. The grandstands are all empty. No one bothered to show up. It's a ghost town. Abraham Bernstein
Dear Abraham, The WEC, and sports car racing in general, is a high-tech engineering endeavor by Porsche, Audi and Toyota. There is no human element, hence no fans. Driver talent means very little. Engineering is not a sport, hence the WEC is not a sport, simply an exercise in great engineering. Mark C.
