Force India Mexican F1 driver Sergio Perez has agreed a partnership with the factory-backed TRG-Aston Martin Racing team for next month's Daytona 24 Hours event.

Perez will back the effort for the prestigious endurance race in the United States, with the two cars set to be piloted by his brother Antonio, Ricardo Perez de Lara (no relation), Santiago Creel and Lars Viljoen.

"I'm proud to put this team of strong drivers in the hands of TRG-Aston Martin Racing for one of the biggest sports car races of the year," he said.

"Our sponsors will love this new exposure, and I know the Mexican fans will be cheering our guys through all 24 hours!"

Perez's Force India squad has been linked to a tie-up with Aston Martin for the 2016 season.
