Ferrari Challenge

Welcome to 2016, a year that in the Ferrari Challenge world, the most famous one-make series in the world, is expected to be rich of show, thrills and wheel to wheel duels. As usual there will be three series, the North American one, the Asia-Pacific one and the European one racing on 18 different tracks still with the Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO. The year will end in Daytona with the firs American edition of the Finali Mondiali Ferrari.

Ferrari Challenge North America. As usual the series kicks off in January in combination with America's most famous endurance race, the Daytona 24 Hours (28-30 January). After a long break the 458 Challenge EVOs will return to the fray from 8 to 10 April at Sonoma, in one of the most eagerly anticipated races which is run through the vineyards of the Napa Valley. Then after a year off, the series goes to the Circuit of the Americas for the third race of the season. Drivers will battle it out on the famous Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Notre Dame Island, in Quebec for one of the season's most anticipated races from 10 to 12 June, the same weekend as the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. After the summer break, the series returns to Lime Rock on 16 to 18 September, with the third last race of the season. The Ferrari Challenge will be part of the Ferrari Racing Days from 4 to 6 November at Homestead, before moving back to Daytona, the venue of the 2016 Finali Mondiali.

Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific. The championship will begin on the first weekend of March in Suzuka, a legendary track where Ferrari has written many chapters in its illustrious history. The second weekend on 14 to 16 April will be at Abu Dhabi, the theater of the 2014 Finali Mondiali, which was appreciated by all the drivers. The third round will see the cars in Shanghai as part of the Ferrari Racing Days, always one of the most anticipated events of the year. Before the summer break the championship will go to Malaysia, where from 5 to 7 August the 458 Challenge EVOs will do battle on the Sepang circuit. The engines will rev up again from 16 to 18 September for the most glamorous event of the season, held in conjunction with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. This will be followed by another must-see event between October 14 to 16 when the competition's second Japanese meeting will be held alongside the World Endurance Championship race in Fuji before heading to Daytona for the Finali Mondiali.

Ferrari Challenge Europe. The 2016 Ferrari Challenge Europe calendar kicks off on two classic circuits, which are then followed by a number of debuts and welcome returns. The series will open as usual at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza from 1 to 3 April. The following month it will go to Mugello, for the second and final Italian leg of the championship (29 April – 1 May). In June it will return to France and the legendary Le Mans track where the 24 Hours will take place the same weekend (16-18 June). The first new venue in the championship makes its bow in July (29-31). The Ferrari series will go to the Sochi track that also hosts the Formula 1 Grand Prix in what will be the first of two Ferrari Racing Days events for Europe. After the summer break things get going in a big way with the second Ferrari Racing Days event at Hockenheim, where in addition to the Challenge there will be an exhibition by Scuderia Ferrari, on track sessions by F1 Clienti and the XX Programs.
