Shank Honda leads opening practice

With a lap time of 1:39.655s the #60 Michael Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian Honda HPD #60 led the opening session of the Roar Before the 24. The #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette was second eight-tenths behind, with the #37 Nissan Prototype rounding out the top-3.

The session began with an accident by Lance Stroll. Driving the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing Ford EcoBoost, Stroll lost control at turn 6. The 17-year-old Canadian was ok.

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship field will be back on the track at 3 p.m. ET.
