Ferrari to use its regular drivers in wet-tire test

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen will both appear for Ferrari during next week's dedicated wet-tire test session at the Paul Ricard Circuit, supplier Pirelli has revealed.

Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren are the only teams taking part in the test, which will run from January 25-26, with Pirelli set to provide a selection of prototype wet-compound tires.

McLaren was the first outfit to confirm its driver plans, with test and reserve pilot Stoffel Vandoorne called up, before Red Bull named both Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat.

Ferrari is yet to officially communicate who will be representing the team, but Pirelli confirmed via social media on Friday afternoon that Vettel and Raikkonen are due to take part.

Pirelli's test will be made possible by sprinklers soaking the track.
