Arthur Pic joins Rapax in GP2

Arthur Pic will switch from Campos to Rapax for the 2016 GP2 season, his third in the series.

French racer Pic, 24, the brother of former Marussia and Caterham F1 racer Charles, made his debut in the feeder category in 2014, picking up his first and only win to date in the Hungary Feature Race.

Rapax finished sixth overall in 2015 with one victory, courtesy of Sergey Sirotkin.

"I'm delighted to be joining Rapax for my third campaign in GP2 Series," said Pic.

"I wanted to be part of a front-running team that can challenge for the title, and Rapax has shown over the years they have the pedigree to deliver very strong results.

"They were especially competitive and consistent last year.

"The decision to join Rapax was also made easier when I visited the team and could witness at first hand the great family spirit and atmosphere there was at the factory

"With several race winners returning to the series, this year is shaping up to be another hotly contested affair, but I am sure we have what it takes to achieve our goals."
