Wayne Taylor Racing driver Max Angelelli was taken to a local hospital following today's Rolex 24 at Daytona. It is suspected that Angelelli is being treated for inhaling fumes in the cockpit of the #10 Corvette DP, although that has not been confirmed. After finishing today's race second the Italian pulled off course and was shortly thereafter taken to a local hospital.

Confirmation came a few minutes ago that Angelelli was conscious, stable and being evaluated at a local hospital. We will pass along more information as we receive it.
