PJSC "LUKOIL" and Sochi Autodrom have entered into a partnership agreement, which is to last till 2019. It is aimed at preparation and delivery of sporting events at the most modern racing circuit in the country.

As part of the cooperation, LUKOIL will be a partner of the Russian TCR round which Sochi Autodrom will host for the second time this year. In addition, the Main Grandstand of the circuit will be officially known as LUKOIL Grandstand.

“We have been developing motorsport in Russia for 17 years. Drivers of LUKOIL Racing Team have achieved unprecedented results having won over 50 championships and Russian Cups and about 500 Russian and international competitions. This year our company is celebrating 25 years in business, and we have decided to support the key racing circuit in the Russian Federation. This will improve the image of our country in terms of major sporting events", noted Vagit Alekperov, the President of PJSC "LUKOIL".

“Lukoil always pays a lot of attention to the development of social programs and support of Russian sport. I am sure that cooperation between the motorsport venue and one of the largest oil and gas companies of our country will allow to implement new social projects to promote motorsport in Krasnodar Region", said Veniamin Kondratyev, the governor of Krasnodar Region.
