Col. Dan Tulley, 6 Air Mobility Wing and MacDill Air Force Base commander, will wave the green flag as the honorary starter for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 13. MacDill Air Force Base has an active role in this year's prerace ceremonies, with aerospace medical technician Staff Sgt. Cherrelle Warren singing the national anthem and a MacDill AFB KC-135 providing the prerace flyover.

Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich and Fussible, a duo from the Tijuana electronic music scene, will star in the April 15 Tecate Light Fiesta Friday Concert at the 42nd Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The concert, free to all race ticket holders, will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. PT on the Convention Center outdoor concert stage.

Andretti Autosport has added Indianapolis-based home appliance, electronics and furniture retailer hhgregg as a sponsor. The first appearance for the brand will be with primary sponsorship of Marco Andretti's No. 27 hhgregg/Snapple Honda for the April 24 Honda Grand Prix of Alabama and continue with major sponsor branding throughout the month of May at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The partnership will also see hhgregg on Ryan Hunter-Reay's No. 28 DHL Honda and Carlos Munoz's No. 26 Honda for the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, as well as primary sponsorship of the Munoz entry in the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis.

For the third consecutive year, the Vintage Indy Car Celebration will be part of the Verizon IndyCar Series race weekend at Pocono Raceway. The vintage Indy cars will have track exhibitions Aug. 20 and 21, prior to the ABC Supply 500 on Aug. 21.
