03/15/16 After opening the IndyCar season in St. Petersburg this weekend, Verizon IndyCar Series drivers stopped in Birmingham at the Barber Motorsports Park for a testing day on the track.
Almost every driver from the series was present to test out the new editions of aero kits for IndyCars that will be used in races this season. IndyCar began using aero kits last year.
Besides aero kits, drivers got a chance to test out any other equipment they wanted on a track most drivers considered one of the best in the circuit.
Did IndyCar or its teams release test times from today? Of course not. Why would they want to engage their fans in the middle of the week?
