Pirelli confirms Monaco debut for ultrasoft
Pirelli has allocated a set of Super Softs and Softs for the race, and a set of Ultra Softs for qualifying.
It will mark the first Grand Prix appearance for the Ultra Soft tire, as previously confirmed.
For 2016, each driver receives 13 dry-weather sets per event, with Pirelli selecting two sets for the race (only one of which must be used), and a set of the softest compound, only for use in Q3.
Drivers are free to select any combination of the chosen compounds for the other 10 sets.
Under Formula 1's revised tire regulations, nominations for the flyaway events must be made 14 weeks in advance, while for the European races the deadline is a shorter eight weeks in advance.
