IndyCar: Sandbagging Chevys flex muscle in 3rd Barber Practice

We told you that the Chevys were sandbagging Friday to save tires for today and the race on Sunday. In the final practice for the Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park Will Power and Scott Dixon topped the times for Chevy, ahead of the Hondas of James Hinchcliffe and Carlos Munoz.
The Chevys of Pagenaud, Bourdais and Montoya were 5th thru 8th with Aleshin (Honda) and Newgarden (Chevy) rounding out the top-10.
The session had two red flags to retrieve the cars of Max Chilton and later for Takuma Sato.
