Lewis Hamilton: ‘I can’t wait to come out there [Baku], thank you so much for firstly accepting us at the race and I hope to get to meet as many of you as possible. I can’t wait!’

Nico Rosberg: ‘It’s great to have a European Grand Prix and I hope a lot of Europeans will come to visit the race. I am sure the atmosphere is going to be awesome!’

Daniel Ricciardo: ‘It [Baku City Circuit] is a new challenge. It’s refreshing and more than anything it’s a street circuit and I love street circuits!’

Valtteri Bottas: ‘I’m very excited to be racing in Baku. I’ve never actually been there so it’s a new place for me to visit plus [it’s] a new race track so I really, really can’t wait."

Nico Hulkenberg: ‘I always welcome street circuits…everybody is talking about that old part of the track [at Baku City Circuit] where it gets very narrow through the Old Town, it sounds pretty cool!’

Fernando Alonso: ‘The circuit is very, very fast. I think we will reach an impressive top speed in Baku, around 340km/h. This is a very unique feeling in a street circuit.’
