MetroNet Connects With Jonathan Byrd’s Racing

With the roar of the engines at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway set to begin in just a couple of days, Jonathan Byrd’s Racing is pleased to introduce its newest sponsor, MetroNet.

Headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, MetroNet (www.metronnetinc.com) is a customer-focused company that provides cutting-edge fiber optic communication services, including high-speed Fiber Internet, full-featured Fiber Phone, and Fiber IPTV with a wide variety of programming. All MetroNet services are delivered across a 100% fiber optic network made up of thousands of miles of fiber optic cables connected directly to homes and businesses. Serving 25 Midwest communities, MetroNet provides fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) technology to homes and businesses within its footprint giving its customers state-of-the art quality, speed and reliability.

Keith Leonhardt, MetroNet vice-president of marketing, reflected on what lies ahead, saying “MetroNet is excited that our Indiana-based company is teaming up with other high-performing industry leaders to become a sponsor of Jonathan Byrd’s Racing. Of course it’s a great honor and thrill to become a vested player in a Hoosier tradition as great as the Indy 500."

Bryan Clauson added: “As an Indiana company that’s all about delivering speed and performance to its customers, MetroNet is a perfect fit for our racing program. We’re looking forward to being part of the ongoing MetroNet success story and are excited to welcome them to the team for the month of May and beyond."

Team principal Jonathan Byrd weighed in, saying “Much like the Indy 500 brings our community together every year, while also connecting Indiana to the world and vice versa, MetroNet is all about bringing the world of data, information, and entertainment to its customers, connecting homes and businesses to their cutting-edge fiber optic network, promising speed, reliability, and performance. That said, it almost goes without saying that MetroNet is an ideal partner to bring to the racetrack, and we’re thrilled to be a part of building their brand."

MetroNet is committed to bringing state-of-the-art telecommunications services to communities in Indiana and beyond—services that are comparable or superior to those offered in large metropolitan areas. This commitment not only means better TV, Internet, and phone options for their customers today, but also the capacity to continually provide additional products and services in the future as new uses for 100% fiber are developed.

Jonathan Byrd’s Racing has crafted a program that will see MetroNet fully integrated across the entirety of its motorsports platform. Not only will MetroNet be featured on Bryan Clauson’s Dale Coyne/Jonathan Byrd’s Racing #88 for the Indianapolis 500, MetroNet will also appear on Conor Daly’s Dale Coyne Racing #18 for the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, as well as Bryan Clauson’s #17w Matt Wood Racing winged sprint car, #63 Dooling/Hayward non-winged sprint car, #63 Dooling Machine midget racer, and the #6 Bob East/Klatt Enterprises USAC Silver Crown machine for the balance of Bryan Clauson’s Chasing 200 Tour.
