Tony Stewart has had a rough 2016, missing the first eight Sprint Cup races of his final season, but he will get a nice honor Saturday night.

Stewart will serve as the grand marshal of the Sprint All-Star Race and give the command to fire engines from inside his car. Stewart, who won the 2009 all-star race, is retiring from driving after this season

Stewart, who has not won a Cup race since 2013, is eligible for the all-star race based on his 2009 win, which came in his first season as an owner-driver for Stewart-Haas Racing. He is a three-time Cup champion.
