Sunday Qualification – Tags tags the wall….

Coming to the green flag on his qualification attempt, Alex Tagliani looped the car in turn 4 and tagged end of the pit road wall. He quickly exited the vehicle under his own power, and appears to be okay. Even though no attempt was made, he can't return for another attempt, so it looks like he'll start in 33rd position on Sunday.

Next-slowest, if no one else crashes, will likely be Buddy Lazier, who qualified 2 3/4 seconds slower than Pippa (over the 4 laps).
