LeMans Hour 8: Toyota still leads at the 1/3 mark

The #6 Toyota leads the Le Mans 24 Hours at one-third distance by 23 seconds over the #2 Porsche, with Stephane Sarrazin at the wheel.
The Toyota doing 14-lap stints now has a nine-lap pitstop offset in the favor of the Japanese manufacturer meaning that by halfway they will skip one pitstop vs the gas guzzling Porsches.
The #1 Porsche with Timo Bernhard has fallen back to 3rd.
The second Toyota, currently driven by Kazuki Nakajima, lies fourth after pitting at the end of the hour.
Audi lost more ground as both cars were forced to the garage for repairs to their race number lighting systems, following instructions from race control.
Pierre Thiriet has Thiriet by TDS Racing's leading in LMP2 by than one minute at the end of the eighth hour.
Dirk Muller holds a narrow GTE-Pro lead for Ford as the minnow Risi Competizione Ferrari 488 GTE is giving the mighty Ford factory cars fits.
Sebastien Bourdais moved the #68 Ford almost half a minute clear of the chasing sister #69 car and the Risi Ferrari.
