Harding Group joins Andretti Short Track as primary sponsor

Andretti Autosport Short Track program announced today it has secured sponsorship from the Harding Group to fill out the remainder of their 2016 sprint car season with driver Jarett Andretti. The Harding Group, the leaders in asphalt surfacing and paving needs through the Midwest, will be the primary sponsor of Andretti and the No.18 410 Sprint Car from August through September. The company will be an associate sponsor for all other events.

This season, Andretti Autosports has proven to be the premier sprint car program in the Midwest. Andretti and the team have already completed over 30 events and have shown value for their many partners on and off the track. The partnership with the Harding Group will now complete their primary sponsorship assets for the season.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with all our partnerships and really, friendships, that we’ve developed with Andretti Autosport Short Track," said Andretti. “We welcome the Harding Group to our team and thank them for their support throughout the rest of the summer and fall. They are a great company, and just like all our partners, we want to get them into the winner’s circle."

The Harding Group has been a strong supporter of open wheel racing in Indianapolis. They have had an annual presence at Carb Day for many years, hosting the largest party on the popular day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The company is also the sponsor of “Fast Time" on “Fast Friday" during the month of May at the track. Their passion for open wheel racing attracted them to Andretti Autosport Short Track.

“John, Jarett, the entire Andretti family and team are great people," said Mike Harding, Harding Group Owner. “They are professionals and are building a strong future for Jarett on the track. We want to be part of their success and are proud to support the team this summer."

Jarett, the 2014 USAC National Sprint Car Rookie of The Year, will compete in nearly 75 total events this season. With primary support from Window World, Schaeffer’s Specialized Lubricants, Superior Auto and now the Harding Group, the team has secured sponsorship for the full season. Andretti has one win this season along with numerous Top-Five and Top-10 finishes across various tracks throughout Indiana.

Jarett, grandson of Aldo and son of John Andretti, has championships in go-karts and the USAC Eastern Ignite Pavement Midget Series. He has also won Rookie of The Year honors at the Oswego Speedway in the supermodified class in addition to the USAC National Rookie of The Year. Jarett is an honors graduate of North Carolina State University. He now lives in Indianapolis.
