An Incredible double header in London closed the FIA Formula E 2015/16 season at the weekend, with MB Partners' client Mike Conway suffering issues with his car which hampered his chances of a podium place on Sunday.

The last event of the second FIA Formula-E season was held in Battersea Park. The street circuit is viewed as the most challenging track of the series for mechanics and drivers alike due to the narrow, unforgiving, winding layout and uneven surface of the track.

Saturday's racing was difficult, frequent rain showers lead to a chaotic qualifying session and race for most teams. Mike Conway ended Saturday’s race in P9, a very reasonable result considering the weather conditions and all of the accidents on the track.

On Sunday, the race dynamic was much better with the sun shining for most of the day, offering more ideal racing conditions. Numerous accidents throughout the race made progression through the field very troublesome for Conway, who had taken P15 on the grid and finished P13, in a race which could potentially have seen him take a much better place were it not for mechanical problems.

Mike commented: "I am sad. It's been difficult since I joined the series. The Formula E championship is really tough and I have learned a lot since I came in. I'll bring that next season and I'll come back next year and be stronger. It's really a good championship with very good drivers, I have enjoyed it but I would have liked some good results. For example, this weekend in London was not easy like the others. On Sunday's race, as people were dropping in the last laps, it seems I could have maybe had a top 3 but I had an issue with the car and lost my position. That's frustrating."

FIA Formula-E returns on 9th October 2016 in Hong-Kong. The third season of the series will have 14 races, concluding in New-York City on 30th July 2017.
