A "capacity crowd of more than 20,000" attended last night's Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora Speedway. The event on the half-mile track marks NASCAR's "annual return to its roots," being the sanctioning body's "only national series dirt race" SPORTINGNEWS.com.
Prior to the race, driver Tony Stewart "held a special event on Eldora Speedway's kart track." His foundation attempted to "set the Guinness World Record for the largest game of Heads or Tails." A total of 561 people "showed up," eclipsing the "mandatory minimum of 250 people for the record." Participants donated $10 to the foundation to "play Flip It For A Good Cause." DAYTON DAILY NEWS
