Rosberg tops tight final practice in Germany

Under beautiful weather conditions Nico Rosberg and Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton ran 1-2 in final practices for the German GP at Hockenheim Saturday morning but the gap to their competitors shrunk considerably. Rosberg's lap of 1m15.738s was only 0.057s faster than Hamilton and 0.099s faster than third place Daniel Ricciardo.

Kimi Raikkonen was 4th for Ferrari just 0.164s back with his teammate Sebastian Vettel who returned to pitlane with the front wing of his Ferrari askew, after a moment at Turn 10

Red Bull's Max Verstappen rounded out the top-5.
