Castroneves almost decapitated at Pocono
AR1.com has been calling for full canopies on IndyCars for many years. Still nothing. Today they almost lost another driver, one year after losing Justin Wilson for the same negligence.
Helio Castroneves was almost decapitated in this accident when Alexander Rossi's crew released him from the pits right in front of Charlie Kimball and the resulting collision sent Rossi into the air and over the cockpit of Castroneves, almost decapitating him. A windscreen would not have saved him.
