Castroneves tops opening IndyCar practice at Sonoma

Helio Castroneves

Helio Castroneves only turned 4 laps in opening practice for the Go-Pro Grand Prix at Sonoma IndyCar race but he has a Chevy and that's all he needed to be fastest.

His lap of 1m17.3298s was enough to top five Hondas led by 3rd generation driver Marco Andretti and 2nd generation driver Graham Rahal.

Jack Hawksworth, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Mikhail Aleshin rounded out the top-6.
