NASCAR returns to racing this weekend at Darlington Speedway in South Carolina.

Will auto racing’s top series be able to run a scheduled doubleheader as part of a larger weekend of events at Pocono Raceway in late July?

Pa. Gov. Tom Wolf said he’s not sure yet amid the coronavirus pandemic, but the event is still on the racetrack’s schedule for June 25-28.

“We actually have had conversations with NASCAR, and I told them that Pennsylvania is not ready to make a decision yet," Wolf said during a news conference Friday.

“The area that they want to have this gathering is actually in the red right now, and so I told them, Pennsylvania is not ready to make a decision."
