Faraday Future Dragon Racing Competes in First-Ever Visa Vegas eRace

– Faraday Future Dragon Racing drivers Jerome D’Ambrosio and Loic Duval head to Sin City where they will test their racing skills off the track in Formula E’s ground-breaking virtual Visa Vegas eRace.The Visa Vegas eRace continues Formula E’s tradition of embracing new technologies as a leader pushing for innovation across sports media. The event is featured as part of Sports Business Innovation on the 50th anniversary of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). And with a share of $1 million, the Visa Vegas eRace marks the biggest prize in eSports racing history.
D’Ambrosio enters the virtual competition a favorite among the professional Formula E drivers after his victory in the eRace in Marrakesh.

Joining the team this weekend is Dutchman Bono Huis. Huis is a name synonymous with winning, after claiming five straight Formula Simracing World Championships. He has been training with Team Redline – a pro sim racing team that has produced open-wheel superstars like his countryman Max Verstappen.
The 20 pro drivers and 10 elite sim racers will race on a bespoke Las Vegas track that will be unseen by the drivers until the event.
The schedule for the Visa Vegas eRace resembles the regular Formula E schedule. Practice for the Vegas eRace begins today at 8:40 p.m. GMT. The second practice session will be at 9:00
a.m. GMT on Saturday, January 7. Qualifying follows suit at 3:25 p.m. GMT with the 28-lap erace starting at 4:00 p.m. GMT. All sessions will be broadcast on Twitch, with a link shared on the FIA Formula E website.
