John Force Racing, Peak announce expanded partnership

John Force Racing has announced an expanded partnership between its 18-time NHRA championship-winning team and Peak/BlueDEF, the leaders in the development and distribution of high-quality automotive and heavy-duty products for over four decades.
Peak Coolant & Motor Oil has renewed its partnership to back 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force for the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season and beyond. Peak and Force will remain partners for the long term, with the goal of racing with Force for the remainder of his career, no matter how long that might be.
Peak's parent company, Old World Industries, has supported Force and JFR through its Peak Antifreeze & Coolant products, its BlueDEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid, its Final Charge Global Extended Life Coolant and its Herculiner Truck Bed Liners dating back to the 2014 season.
As part of the extension in 2017, Peak Motor Oil will also become the Official Motor Oil of John Force Racing.
"I've found a great partner in Peak," Force said. "They've been big supporters of me and my race teams, and I love they've decided to expand what they do with us. I know I'm not getting any younger, but I still love driving and I love drag racing, so I'm going to be around a while. And Peak will be right there with me."
After joining John Force Racing in 2014, Peak became Force's primary sponsor in 2015 for the majority of races and grew the program to primary for all 24 races in 2016. The move paid off with Force securing four race wins last season in the Peak Antifreeze & Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car, increasing his NHRA-record win total to 147.
"John is the greatest ambassador in drag racing history and the face of the Peak brand and our company," Peak Chief Marketing Officer Bryan Emrich said. "We see so much value in John, the JFR team, and NHRA championship drag racing that we have added the motor oil category to our partnership to grow our business and grow yet again with our JFR family."
Force is entering his 41st NHRA season and shows no sign of slowing down. For 2017, Jimmy Prock returns to JFR to serve as crew chief for Force's Peak Coolant & Motor Oil Chevrolet, with Chris Cunningham serving as co-crew chief. Prock won 41 races and two championships at JFR, including six wins and the 2013 title with Force. The legendary Force holds numerous NHRA records, including race wins (147), championships (16) and round wins (1,263).
Peak Coolant & Motor Oil and BlueDEF will also adorn JFR's three other cars: the Auto Club of Southern California Funny Car for Robert Hight, the Advance Auto Parts Funny Car for Courtney Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster for Brittany Force.
