Ferrari Driver Academy members Marcus Armstrong and Enzo Fittipaldi have joined Prema for campaigns in Formula 4 this season.

Both drivers were picked up by the Ferrari junior scheme this year, with Armstrong set for a double program in German and Italian F4.

The 16-year-old will race in his first full single-seater season, having sampled Formula Renault and British Formula 3 machinery at selected rounds last year and finishing fourth in the 2016/2017 Toyota Racing Series.

"I'm very pleased to be working with Prema Powerteam for the 2017 season," he said. "There is a huge amount of knowledge and experience within the team, and it's fantastic to share the same ambition.

"We are hungry for results, which is something I have learned to love about Prema. They have a fantastic reputation and I can't wait to learn and grow within the team. Between Prema and the Ferrari Driver Academy I feel a great collaboration and I can't thank them enough."

Fittipaldi, grandson of two-time F1 world champion Emerson, is making a full-time step up to single-seaters in 2017 with a drive for Prema in Italian F4.

"I am very happy and honored to be racing with Prema and to be part of the Ferrari Driver Academy," he said.

"Being a rookie this year I know I will have a lot to learn, but nonetheless I am really motivated and looking forward to the start of the season."
