Kyle Busch was not happy about his early exit from Sunday's Daytona 500.

Busch was ahead after the first 60 laps in "The Great American Race" and became the first stage winner in the new era of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Unfortunately, things went downhill from there in a big way.

Just past the 100 lap mark, Busch spun racing into Turn 3 and that set off a multi-car accident that swept up Erik Jones, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Ty Dillon.

"Goodyear tires aren't very good at holding air," Busch explained of what caused him to spin.

"It happened just as soon as we started picking up load into Turn 3. I don't know if it was the left rear or right rear that went down, but it tore up three JGR cars and Dale Jr., so I feel bad about that. It was nothing we did wrong. It's frustrating we have that every single year here. … Man, you're trying to win the Daytona 500 and that's so disappointing." Motor Racing Network
