Dave Freitas Racing Drivers To Donate Prize Money To Cancer Foundation

For the March 10-12 third and fourth rounds of the Primus Racing presents PACIFICF2000 RACING at Willow Springs, Ca., the legendary “Fastest Road in the West", Santa Fe Springs, Ca. based Dave Freitas Racing drivers Tim De Silva, Harin De Silva, Peter West, Jason Reichert and Ira Fierberg have pledged to donate the entirety of their prize money winnings to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

Additionally, all five DFR cars will be proudly displaying the iconic Susan B. Komen Pink Ribbon logo.

Defending Series Champion and current points leader Tim DeSilva stated “I’m really excited to be able to support the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at the upcoming race. It is a fantastic cause, and I am more than happy to support it through my passion for motorsports. I think supporting this Foundation is great for our Pacific F2000 Series and should be something we continue to do".

The idea for the donations came from DFR team boss Dave Freitas, whose Mother In Law, Barbara Sabel, is currently battling Breast Cancer. The team’s drivers were all enthusiastic to be able to help promote Breast Cancer awareness.
