Alexis DeJoria Withdraws From Four-Wide Nationals

Kalitta Motorsports announced Thursday that NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Funny Car driver Alexis DeJoria has withdrawn from this weekend's NHRA Four-Wide Nationals to be held at zMax Dragway.

DeJoria will be stepping away from the driver's seat this weekend to deal with a family matter, according to a statement released by the team.

Kalitta Motorsports Director of Safety and veteran Funny Car driver Chad Head will step behind the wheel of the Tequila Patrón Toyota Camry for the event.
