Charlotte Motor Speedway unveiled the program covers for this months upcoming Monster Energy All Star Race and Coca Cola 600 race weekends, illustrated by legendary motorsports artist, Sam Bass.

The two program covers are the 83rd and 84th covers designed by Bass – NASCAR's first officially licensed artist – since he first began back in 1985.

The cover for the May 20th All Star Race cove highlights the history of the all star event, including the 25th anniversary of the first race held under the lights at the speedway back in 1992 – also known as "One Hot Night" – as well as Dale Earnhardt's famous "Pass In The Grass" in the 1987 edition of the race. The cover also features Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and last years winner, Joey Logano.

The May 28th Coca Cola 600 covers features six members of the "Coca Cola Racing Family", including the newest "family member", rookie Daniel Suarez, who Bass said was a last-minute edition to the cover, which he competed last Thursday.

Bass admitted his favorite cover out of all the ones he has drawn was the program cover for the 1993 All Star Race – then called "The Winston" – and Coca Cola 600, which featured the helmeted visages of Davey Allison and Kyle Petty, and was the first "horizontal" cover he ever did.
