Prost denies return at LeMans

Responding to a story in French sports newspaper l'Equipe, a spokesman said that Alain Prost was heavily involved in preparations for this season's Andros Trophy ice-racing season – with de Chaunac's ORECA team – but considered the 24 Hours 'too risky.' "There is little truth in the story," de Chaunac confirmed in a subsequent interview with l'Equipe TV, "In the last eight days, I have announced that we will contest the 24 Hours with three French pilots and a car capable of winning, but I never specified that Alain was involved."
