Edmonton Champ Car race sales booming

UPDATE This rumor is upgraded to 'fact' today. See hot news item. 12/12/04 We have it on good word that the excitement and energy in Edmonton for the first-ever Champ Car race is high. Our inside sources tell us that total sales, i.e. tickets, hospitality, sponsorship have already reached the $2 million mark since the launch a few short weeks ago. Over 165 companies have called looking for hospitality information. Thirty suites have already been sold and they have a track naming rights company locked in [we already rumored that (as fact now) that it will be called Fenning International Speedway]. We hear similar excitement is building in San Jose as well….helped by news on local prime-time TV every night last week. Mark C.
