IMS Sunday First Practice
Hazy skies, calm winds, lower temps (72 degrees) and massive tows combined for fast speeds in first practice. The session was for cars that qualified 10-33 yesterday (or not at all), but even then, nine of those drivers posted unassisted lap times that would've probably put them into the fast nine yesterday.
Ed Jones lead the overall speed for the morning practice at 233.008 mph, while Graham Rahal posted the fastest solo lap at 231.733.
