A1 GP to add Mexico race

Word in Mexico is that the A1 Grand Prix series will run somewhere in Mexico next year, February 16th to be precise. The track wasn't revealed yet, but they are coming to Mexico said the organizers of the race in a press conference today. The possible tracks are the "Cancun F1 track" and of course the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, but NOT Monterrey. The Mexican team must have a Mexican driver behind the wheel of the Team A1 Mexico entry. They have talked with Mario Dominguez, Luis Diaz, Memo Rojas and Piero Rodarte. The cost of the franchise will be $8 million. We await the formal announcement from A1 GP. Hector Serrano reporting from Mexico
