Cosworth could lose F1 market
Despite now producing a competitive engine in F1, Cosworth can soon, after 40 years, find itself out of F1. All the smaller teams are trying to align with a major manufacturer, several of whom are offering engines at a lower cost than Cosworth. The minnows of F1 would love to be aligned with a major car manufacturer, hence why Sauber, Jordan, and soon Red Bull and possibly even Minardi, will be running engines from one of the major manufacturers, leaving Cosworth on the sidelines if it can't find a major manufacturer to badge its F1 engines. How the loss of revenue will effect Cosworth remains to be seen. It is very possibly we will see them getting involved in other forms of motorsports.
