Legge at Indy?

Andy Lally and Katherine Legge won the GTD (that's GT3 to the rest of the world) race in IMSA today. Prior to that, team owner Michael Shank was amazed at how much his people learned by going to Indy and hanging out with the Andretti people. Shank, as we reported, is definitely interested in going back for another Indy 500 run.

Don't discount Katherine Legge either. Her IndyCar career was derailed, first by the collapse of CCWS, then by the Lotus fiasco, and finally the debacle with Jay Penske selling the seat that she's brought sponsorship for. Still, before her ouster, she showed promise in IndyCar, and is definitely a fan-favorite. AR1 caught up with her in the middle of her victory celebration, and asked if we might see her again in IndyCar. She kinda waved her arms, kinda gave a British-accent "uhhhhh, uhhh… uhhh" but definitely didn't rule it out. She will be back if the stars align for her. Heaven knows she is owed a few aligned stars.
