Champ Car to renew with Monterrey

While AutoRacing1.com has been telling its readers that Champ Car will renew its contract with Monterrey, Mexico when it expires after this year's race, there have been reports by misinformed Mexican reporters that Champ Car will not be returning after this year. We checked with Champ Car boss Gerald Forsythe, who has a financial stake in the event, who said these reports are lies and in fact, the Monterrey folks want to do more with the event, some of which is impossible due to space constraints. This rumor is marked as 'fact' to underscore its validity and to dispel the 'false' rumors being spread in Mexico. Mark C.
