Formula E boosts max output for 17/18 season
Formula E has steadily upped its power output since arriving on the racing scene in 2014/15 and, from next season, the in-race level will increase from 170kW to 180kW.
Formula E's maximum output remains at 200kW, available in practice and qualifying.
Meanwhile, teams will be able to carry out six promotional days, an increase of three, with a maximum of three days of running on circuit, in a bid to promote roadshows.
A practice day will also be added during the season, along with a practice day reserved for rookies, though a non-qualifying session will be removed at double-header events.
Formula E is still planning to introduce one car per race from season five, with drivers currently required to swap cars midway through each ePrix, for energy reasons.
